Tamsulosin is an alpha-1A adrenergic blocker used to relieve the urinary symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), usually as modified-release pellets in capsules.
Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that reduces prostate volume in BPH and is often combined with tamsulosin.
